mountain sunrises

just a quiet, homework laden morning out at the farm. I just finished a paper, and am enjoying the last of my Left Bank Sunshine blend while watching the world wake up around me. There are little ones all over the place--it's Trillium's birthday and she had a big sleepover. I felt wistful hearing the pitter-patter of little feet running upstairs. I've said it before, but my maternal wiring has kicked into hard drive since I've been teaching and spending time with the kids. I can definitely wait to have my own, but that doesn't mean that I won't mother the shit out of everybody else's.

the colors are incredible this morning. I love the pastel sunrises out here...first everything is this dark indigo, and as the sun peeks up over the mountains, it changes to light pinks, blues and yellows. So pretty.

Also, exciting news. I will be babysitting for the family of the two sisters in my FarmSchool class: Rya and Aila. They need some hours where one, two or all three kids are being watched, and our schedules coincide nicely so that I can be of help. It's extra cash in my pocket, evening homework time and playing with kids. I can't think of a better setup.

now the real meat of my post. Found this earlier this morning, and had to do it. I love these things, I really do.

Orange, white and blue, with the gum rubbing thingies on it.

Getting carpal tunnel while typing the remnants of a paper.

I don't eat those anymore...but I love Luna power bars!

...Dangerous Curves in Boyd, MN, is the seediest place I have ever set foot in.

6)What is the best ice cream flavor?
I am loving cinnamon and pumpking ice cream right now.

Coffee. A thermos of coffee.

8)What are you wearing right now?
Layers. Long underwear, wool sock liners, wool socks, Carharts, a wool sweater, longsleeve t-shirt, t-shirt and silk camisole. I look like a marshmallow.

A bowl of Apple Cinnamon Crunch with skim milk.

10)Have you bought any new clothes items this week?
hahahahahaahaha, no.

Yesterday. We played tag at FarmSchool.

A phyto-nutrient multi-vitamin. I love how my urine glows in the dark after ingesting them.

Yes, but only to sing in the community choir that happens to practice at the local Mormon church!

Infinitely.
