something comforting

Hush now baby don't you cry
Rest your wings my butterfly
Peace will come to you in time
And I will sing this lullaby

Know though I must leave, my child
That I would stay here by your side
And if you wake before I'm gone
Remember this sweet lullaby

And all love through darkness
Don't you ever stop believing
With love forlorn
With love you'll find your way
My love

The world has turned the day to dark
I leave this night with heavy heart
When I return to dry your eyes
I will sing this lullaby

Yes I will sing this lullaby
(humming)

I'm putting together a box of books for my future kids as well as tracks for CD's I'll eventually burn for them. One of those CD's is of lullabyes, and I stumbled upon this one by Josh Groban just a few days ago. Hopefully I'll throw an audio/video clip up here at some point. Love.

The snow must be making you feel like "Cocooning" or "Nesting". I know the feeling as I get things ready here for Fall and eventually Winter, although not for the same reasons as you, Hee Hee. Got my costume today for the "Haunted Trail", gonna be scary. Waffles and Snausages for supper tonight, it is really cool outside. Scooter got his nails clicked and is full of viss and pinegar. Big ad in last Sundays paper for my cooking this Thursday.... whew, no pressure.
Hope your truck starts shifting again soon.
Love,
Dad, Theresa and Frisky Scooter Pie

Doesn't "Boyz 2 Men" sing in the background for this song?
