Okay, I'm leaving in an hour! With me on the train I'll have a carry-on, a backpack and my guitar...soooo characteristic.
It's been a deluge of love, goodbyes, hugs and laughs this week. I have 21 boxes being shipped to me up north as we speak, and although I probably won't be on for quite some time, I am thinking of all of you and love you all so very much. Thanks for all of your support in this new journey of mine.
LOVE!

Katie,
Wishing you all the best from the "A" Team at APIS. Hope everything goes your way. You deserve it! Take the world by storm and don't take no crap from nobody! You rock and remember, we'll always be waiting for you in Bayfield!
Hugs & Kisses

Have a great trip as you head towards a great adventure. I am looking forward to your blogs as you describe it all to us.
You are crazy. I love you!
How can someone at your tender age have accumulated 21 boxes of possessions?
For some reason I keep seeing flashbacks of The Long Long Trailer with Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. That's the one where she keeps picking up rocks on their trip until the trailer is so loaded down it can't make it up a hill.
Kind of a metaphor there. If you are starting a new stage of your life you might not want to bring along too much baggage.
Words of wisdom from your oh, so wise, Uncle Bar Man.
Glad you had a great trip out there, made it safe, and can now settle in a bit. Thanks for the call, we are thinking of you constantly. I am certain you will love it there and fit right in. This is the beginning of the next "time of your life". So proud, so full of Love for you!

Oh, and say "Hi" to the first moose you see from us.
The first Moose? What, you have something against the Elks?
What an Oddfellow
Caribou, Uncle Dan. I haven't seen an elk yet. Also, let us not forget the Musk Ox that are just a hop, skip and a jump away from my new homestead.
